PROJECT OVERVIEW

St. Queenies is made up of the amazing duo, Carlos and Tiffany Graves. They have both been craftsmen in the kitchen and have decided to bring their talents to the food truck industry! Their passion and drive have brought them to start their own food truck in the hopes to create a store front restaurant in the near future. Their goal and reason to bring in GlassBeard Media is to create an iconic look and feel to an age old industry of cajun food and fun.

IDENTITY

As a brand new business St. Queenies is ready to burst onto the scene with all the intention to make a splash. They are in love with cajun food and everything that comes with it, so our goal was to find a way to tie the typical cajun restaurant to the style of Tiffany Graves by giving it a feminine flair. Our first priority was to announce what they do with a simple pig illustration as the logo icon but make it tie into a script font and organization.

As we got more into the project we wanted the colors and typography to be our design premise and give the pig as more of a background piece to give a different visual than most cajun restaurants. We also had to make sure that we were creating something that would stand the test to develop into a restaurant as a stand alone when the time came.

DESIGN

Capturing the essence of a female run business without making the vibe seem only available to women was our main concern. Keeping the illustrated pig was key to giving the male side of the image and then adding in a script font and the bright colors to even out the demographics was key to our success.
