PROJECT OVERVIEW

Bambu Marketing came to us as a brand new company looking to create a splash in the industry. Brynn & Randy Rouse have been doing database retention marketing for over 10 years. They came to us needing us needing strategy and design to launch them into their own company.

IDENTITY

Brynn and Randy Rouse have an exceptional reputation in the industry working for a firm in San Antonio, but taking a strong portfolio and translating that into a business can be a difficult endeavor. We were excited to bring them on to help them make this transition. Our first step was to find out the problem that Brynn & Randy faced going into the industry. When we went through the discovery phase of our process we uncovered that most marketing firms make their customers spend large sums of money to get their name into their respected industry without giving any guidance on the approach or follow through to keep their clientele. We knew to make our marketing firm stand out Brynn & Randy needed to focus on retaining customers and growing businesses over time instead of throwing money month after month.

Our plan for Brynn & Randy was to focus on their idea of retention in the marketplace. Realtors & Brokers were their main target and the best industry to utilize their process. We started by defining our slogan that would promote our identity. We came up with the slogan, “Start with one” to show that we are focusing on each individual client with so much care and support that they will begin to refer their services to the next person they encounter.

SLOGAN

We are setting ourselves apart from the standard culture of marketing. We do not provide cookie cutter services, which is why we are all about the steady growth. We are an agency built on being innovative, creative and extremely unique.

Sure, our business is not a new concept however we prefer to keep it old school. We obtain new clientele based on partnering with business owners focused on creating growth through consumer merit. We want to help businesses not only become a source of income for your family now but to continue to provide for your family through generations. Build a tree with strong roots and it will withstand the storms of tomorrow. The future is bright for those that walk with purpose not speed.

MISSION

The mission was to find the strong message that resonated with our target audience, but gave them a strong impression of where we stood as a company. When we created the mission, “Loyalty Multiplies” , we invoked the identity that when business is done correctly people will notice and sing your praises. The entrepreneur landscape is a small world & business owners appreciate honest work that returns honest results.

DESIGN

Once we created a plan of action & a message that resonated with their audience the design came clearly into focus. We knew we had to be able to attract clientele that was making our 6 figures, so our attention had to be on the details or we would be laughed out of the conversation. We chose to create a logo design that was a strong wordmark. Brynn & Randy are new in the industry so an icon would not do them any favors in the industry. We wanted to create something that when people heard it or saw it would resonate quickly.

Even though we were trying to be sophisticated in our design we still had a female focused client and were going to be producing a great deal of packaging and social media content for our audience. We created a unique set of icons and collateral to utilize for ongoing use. We made sure that we were setting up this brand to grow into the future, so we started with 28 icons.

PATTERNS/TEXTURES/PHOTOS

We took the icons that we created and developed them into a pattern to be utilized in packaging, backgrounds, or wall paper. Our idea was to give a sense of fun & happiness to surprise our audience without overwhelming them. We use the icon pattern in strict manner within the guidelines. We only use as a spot gloss or opacity overlay as to keep the brand interesting without making the overall design feel kiddish. The bambu texture is from the slogan. We created a number 1 that when laid over itself creates a bamboo pattern. We wanted to incorporate the slogan into the identity of the brand design. The photography will come from professional, amateurs and everything in between and we needed a way to keep the brand photography to be consistent over time, so we created a photoshop action for Bambu Marketing to use. They bring in any photo hit the play button in photoshop and the action takes care of the rest. We want to make our clients life easier and this is one example of that help.
